The Sheriff Department Los Angeles, California (LASD) has decided to replace their handguns over 13,000 agents. The gun chosen was the S & W M & P, a move that consolidates the Smith & Wesson semiautomatic as one of the most widespread handguns among law enforcement American country.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is the largest department of its kind in the entire United States, and the second local police agency‘s largest country. Formed in 1850, the LASD is considered one of the police most prestigious and respected on the West Coast of North America.
The first model in the series Military & Police to be supplied to the sheriffs of this department is the gun Smith & Wesson M & P9, chambered to fire 9mm Parabellum cartridges, and noted for its proven reliability and remarkable precision.
